Yes, it is more convenient to buy almond butter from a store, but you ever want to give it a try, making homemade almond butter is really super simple.

Now, if you don't have a food processor, I gotta tell you that it was one of my first larger kitchen equipment items I purchased in college and totally changed my life. They are super easy to clean, and they open up a whole new world of simple, healthy recipes you can make at home (like pestos, hummus, you name it). Food processors can also chop, shred and dice foods that are usually so annoying to deal with, I mean thin-slicing potatoes by hand is not fun.
